When is kg retiring

KG was really intense. I was kind of in the middle. Then you had Ray to kind of balance us out. He knows how to fit in, but he also knows how to add. Those guys are all good guys.

Kevin is a great fit for them. This morning, before practice, he had a teaching clinic that you would pay a lot of money to see.

It was great. We know him as a great player. I knew him as a great teacher. Who would ever want to do that? I think he has a teaching future. This [situation] is as organic as it could be. I just told him to come around and figure it out. Do whatever you want. He is one of the greatest players to ever play the game.

But, when you have a guy like Kevin who was the greatest at his position, when he talks, you want to listen. Jamal Crawford: KG man, that is all…. Brandi is pushing for it, trying to get him to come and coach.

And after that? Just having respect for everybody from the janitor to the owner. He always wanted to win, always wanted to get an edge on you early. He tried to intimidate you at times, but that was just his style. I have nothing but respect for him and what he did for this league. He was probably one of the best all-around players this league has ever seen.

That was his style — intensity. He had a passion for the game that was incredible. He was the first one in here and the last one to leave …He made the Timberwolves. You always find a place for a guy like that, whose voice in the locker room is so strong, so clear, so impactful. He should start a course in leadership. The NBA should designate who the best player is on each team and then they could bring Kevin in and he could teach them how to be the best player and the best leader. Better yet, they could bring him and Tim [Duncan] in and they could teach it together and show people how it can be done in two completely opposite ways.

Official end to an iconic year career. Kobe Bryant: I loved every minute I competed against you. I would enjoy seeing him on TV. Ownership, he expressed an interest in that.

It was a great plan that Flip had. The initial plan was to bring him back, give him the ropes of ownership. I think he still is interested in that. He has never expressed one definitive thing that he wants to do. His hard work and dedication to the game night in and night out made him one of the most complete players in the NBA.

KG brought an unparalleled intensity to the court, that led him to an MVP award, Defensive Player of the Year award, and later a championship in Boston. He has left an indelible mark on the game that has and will continue to inspire a generation to follow in his footsteps.

Karl Anthony Towns: Thank you for everything my brother. Congrats on having one of the greatest careers the game has ever seen. We talked. I know what I must do. Thank you for everything my brother. You know how much I'm gonna miss playing with you and just simply having you around. I'll take it from here. Like a big brother in the locker room and out. Enjoy your retirement, definitely well deserved for all your hard work. Your words of wisdom will forever remain with me throughout my career.

Shoutout to a real one! Rajon Rondo: I want to congratulate my brother on 21 seasons. He changed the game. Broke records. Gave his blood, sweat, and tears.

Thank you for teaching me. Thank you for everything. My Brother. We've waited long enough.
